7 Stones Fireplace

The closing of the International Roots Meeting was to inaugurate the 7 Stones Fireplace.

Stones from 7 mountains of the world were brought together by indigenous people to create the Fireplace close to the Mother Tree.

– When you meet by the tree you must also have a fire, said Mayor of Mwanza a few years ago. Now the fireplace was to be inaugurated.

Massai people from Kenya created the first fire.
