Umbrella Tree
(Schefflera actinophylla)<\/h3>

The children\u2019s tree in Mukono is an Umbrella Tree (Schefflera actinophylla) next to the City Hall. By Ugandan tradition the Umbrella Tree is a tree where people meet. The umbrella tree gives good shade and shelter.<\/p>

After the children\u2019s program, the mayor introduced the councilors and their assignments to the children. The children asked questions and shared what is important to them. The dialogue was openhearted and focused on finding solutions. H.W. the Mayor Johnson Muyanja Senyonga pointed towards the City Hall and said: \u2013\u201dThere is my office!
