IT-finalist i Bangemann Challenge Globträdet utses av The Global Bangemang Challenge (numera Stockholm.Challenge) som finalist i gruppen Supporting the Environment, en utmärkelse för IT-projekt där “the aims are to promote world-wide sharing of ideas and knowledge how technology can be used to the benefit of people and the society”. I den anslutande TIME-mässan (Telecommunication-Information Technology- Media/New Media – Electronics) visas Globträdets utställning om IT-arbetet i Framtidsskeppet.
